This Marathon Special is a 6 week program with:
- Assessment: strength / mobility assessment
- Masterclass
- Small group strength training specific to running: 2 times per week
- Three 1-on-1 sessions with one of our physiotherapists
- A stylish training Falke shirt
By the end of this program, you’ll be fit and ready at the starting line of your race!

Who you are
An enthusiastic runner who is looking for some help and guidance in the final phase of preparation for the Amsterdam Marathon. You want to prevent injuries and, like Hassan, cross the finish line with a smile…

What exactly do you get?
Assessment:
Even if you don’t have any complaints yet, it’s important to ensure that your joints are flexible and can move freely, and that you have balanced strength throughout your body. This way, you run more efficiently and reduce the risk of injury. Our specialists will assess you on the bench and also have you perform a few strength and mobility exercises. This way, you’ll know exactly where you stand and what you need to work on.
Masterclass :
During the masterclass, you’ll receive background information on how your body works, what it needs to function optimally, how to train more efficiently, and how to recover faster. Gaining more knowledge will help you make better choices and achieve better results!
Small group training:
In our small group training sessions, our experienced specialists will guide you through the world of running-specific strength training. Your body will become stronger and your risk of injury will decrease.
The training sessions will take place twice a week at or near the practice.
1-op-1 sessions with one of our physiotherapists:
You will receive three 1-on-1 sessions with one of our specialists. You can decide how you want to use them. Want to discuss nutrition, training, or recovery? We’ll cover that! Have a niggling pain somewhere? We’ll treat it!
Falke training shirt:
Receive a stylish Falke training shirt to enjoy your workouts even more.
Race day
Since we are located right next to the start and finish lines, it’s the perfect spot to make your race day even more enjoyable. No standing around shivering in the wind, cold, and rain—just stay warm and relaxed.
We have several things planned to support you before and after your race!
Before your race:
Enjoy a drink with us; we’ll provide coffee and tea.
Join a warm-up led by one of our specialists.
After your race:
Join the cooldown led by one of our specialists.
Experience a recovery session with one of our therapists. Get a good stretch and feel much more flexible afterward.
Enjoy a tasty performance shake to boost your recovery.
