Upper body injuries

Upper body problems are increasingly common and can have a huge impact on your day to day activities and sports participation.

Important to keep in the back of your mind that the spot where you feel the pain is not where it is coming from. That also means that just treating the painful spot is not going to solve your issue. Unfortunatly that is what often happens in current day physiotherapy. We try to do things different. We look beyond the painful spot and assess the surrounding areas and joints and if needed the entire body even. That is how we figure out the root cause of your pain.

UPDATE: I returned due to a recurring knee issue (I am literally breaking down 😂) and worked with Ramon who was so pleasant, professional, and helpful. He did a thorough assessment and was able to help me identify areas for improvement, to the point where I only needed to see him for a total of 2 sessions (in between those sessions. I had incorporated his advice and experienced no pain in my knee). Sad to not be returning to this delightful place, but thankful for such quality service and the follow-up exercises provided to me. Should I ever have any issues, I'm definitely coming back! **************** I came to this physio practice at the recommendation of my husband — and we are both just so impressed by Pieter! I came in with wrist and feet pain, and over the course of several sessions, I experienced significant improvement from at-home exercises and on-site massages. I appreciate Pieter's attentiveness, thorough explanation, and overall enthusiasm. It is clear that he is dedicated to improving people's mobility and quality of life... the only downside is that with such expedited improvement, I am no longer seeing Pieter on a regular basis. Thank you for all of your help, Pieter!

I can absolutely recommend Pieter. After suffering from my pain in my heel (fasciitis-plantaris) for 3 months despite resting, I went to Pieter after receiving a recommendation from my colleague. Pieter immediately told me it's not the pain we should focus on, but the function of the foot. After 4-5 sessions and home exercises, I am pain free again. Thank you Pieter! And btw: Pieter is also just a great guy!
